QQC Mastery

Quote: "Another doctor, one who lacks a Ph.D but has a plaque in the basketball hall of fame in Springfield, Massachusetts put it similarly 'being a proffessonal,' Julius Erving once said, 'is doing the things you love to do, on the days you don't feel like doing them.' "

Question: what type of doctor is he? if he doesn't have a Ph.D?

Comment: I really feel like this is a quote to live by, it is just inspring and good. that you need to work hard even when you dont feel like it.

If you walk into any given high school during lunchtime, there are always a few girls who just sit in the corner and nibble on something, watching everyone eat. These girls are forever increasing in population due to society becoming more rigorous in their image of girls. Living in this society, with the variety of food that we have readily available, effects the amount of eating disorders in teenagers and causes them to be under pressure to be skinny.

The Book of Numbers Chaper 0.000000001

Quote: "By then, a number was placed over another number without the horizontal line, to indicate a fraction. The line did not appear for another 600 years"
Comment: I never knew that fractions were just stacked numbers, I thought that was very interesting.
Question: If Pythagorean didn't create fractions, which one of his followers did?

QQC Euler

"He averaged about 800 printed pages throughout his long life, and yet he almost always had something worth while to say...His personal life was as placid and uneventful as is possible for a man with 13 children"

i think this quote is significant because it shows how dedicated this man was to his studies and research. i think this man must have been pretty amazing, to be able to let alone raise 13 children and publish 800 pages a year!

how could he possibly print 800 pages a year, and raise 13 children?

Quote: "At the age of 20, Leibniz had not only earned his doctorate in law, but had also published several highly original essays on logic and jurisprudence."

Question: What did he major in when he went to college?

Comment: i think that to be 20 and already have a doctorate in law, and have published writings, he must be really super smart and have a common love for knowledge.
